This Holiday Season, give yourself the gift of freedom. Give yourself the gift of release. How wonderful would it be to remember your spiritual power when engaged with family members? How liberating would it be to release past hurts and wounds, to put down the stories of who did or didn’t do what to whom? Imagine a sense of peace with loved ones no longer on the earth plane. How different would life be if there were no karmic pull from generations past? What if you were able to see family members in a new light? What if you discovered new found compassion by tapping into reservoirs of forgiveness? What if communication opened that has been stymied for years? What if you simply felt comfortable with all of your family, not just some?
Even if you have taken the workshop before, there are still new revelations awaiting you. Apply the principles to other areas of your life. This workshop is an adventure into the territory described above. The terrain may appear to be hilly or rocky; it may look like a ravine or a raging river. Whether it feels like Arctic cold or Sahara heat, a path of redemption awaits your first step. Reconciliation is possible. Peace can be yours, regardless of what you or anyone else is doing or has done. Know that you are free.

Teacher of "Sacred Sexuality" Course
7:00 - 9:30pm
Inner Light Social Hall
5630 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA 95073
Fee: $60
Sexuality is an integral part of our spiritual journey, a precious gift that informs how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world. Gender identity, sexual physiology, and sexual orientation are not static. They manifest along continuums of expression. They are also laden with societal expectations and norms. Reconciliation of these norms with our spirituality and sexual authenticity increases our spiritual availability. The workshop focuses on integration, self-affirmation, and balancing our inherent yin/yang energies so that we may unleash our latent powers. The workshop requires honest self-reflection and the creation of sacred healing space. To further your growth, alternate take assignments will be given to those who have taken the workshop before.

"Cleaning Up Relationships"

Life is all about relationships and sometimes we get caught up in our lives and don’t clean up things that need to be dealt with! Is there someone in your life where you need to have a conversation, perhaps some unfinshed business? A forgiveness letter that needs to be written (even to yourself!) or perhaps “letting go” of someting you have been holding onto that is getting in the way of being close to someone you miss dearly. We will go into more depth during the class, but during this week you will take a bold step towards feeling lighter, freerer and more at peace with yourself and the people in your world.

Study Sessions with Rev Deborah
on The Sacred Yes---Teleconference Series
The Sacred Yes is volume one of the Letters From the Infinite series
The letters in the Letters From the Infinite series are an invitation to deepen our relationship with the Divine. Each is an intimate conversation discrete in its own message, with universal lessons addressing the human condition common to us all. The letters provide solace, insight, and inspiration for our hurts, fears, hopes, and aspirations. They speak to us individually and collectively, providing new paradigms for our personal journeys, interpersonal relationships, societal relationships, and global affairs. Acknowledging our strengths and frailties, constructs and confusion, they encourage, chide, and carry us across the threshold of our greater yet to be.

Following the showing of "GO-BAMA: Between Hope & Dreams"
5:00pm

Santa Cruz, CA 95060
Rev Deborah makes a brief appearance in this film.
An uplifting, fly-on-the-wall documentary that portrays the monumental time of change during Barack Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign. We follow filmmaker Satti, born to a German mother and Sudanese father, and raised behind the Iron Curtain in East Germany, as he embarks on a quest following the campaign to find hope again. On this epic journey, Satti encounters varied and charismatic people that give us deep insights into the political expectations that led to the Obama Presidency. Satti’s initial skepticism is often overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and spirit of the American people; nevertheless he dares to ask: “Can we really resurrect our lost hopes and dreams?”

"Homophobia in the Black Church"
Hosted by the African American Ministers Leadership Council of the People for the American Way Foundation, and National Black Justice Coalition. Rev Deborah joins Rev. Byron Williams, Dennis Nelson, Dr. Kenneth L. Samuel, and Dr. Sylvia Rhue on the panel.
Panel Description: Many of our brothers and sisters are suffering from the homophobia that is a serious problem in society at large and within the African American community. Too often, gay people within our own communities are not treated with respect. Too often they do not find refuge from the intolerance and discrimination they experience in the world, and in our churches, but a continuation of it.
Homophobia makes our churches fertile ground for those who seek to set us against one another and promote discrimination and unequal treatment in pursuit of their own political power. It is time that we Speak Until Justice Comes, and lift up a gospel of hope and love for one another, and challenge discrimination that harms our Brothers and Sisters, their families, and our communities.

Sacred Sexuality---Class with Rev. Deborah
9:00am - 12:noon
Inner Light Center Social Hall
6530 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA 95073
Sexuality is an integral part of our spiritual journey, a precious gift that informs how we see ourselves, our relationships and the world. Gender identity, sexual physiology and sexual orientation are not static.
Cost $60

COMMUNICATE: PROP 8
Heart-to-heart dialogue with pro-8 local religious leaders
7:00 - 9:00pm
Inner Light Center
5630 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA 95073
Free event
In alignment with our Theme this month, Harmony, we activate the commune in "communicate" and open a heart-to-heart dialogue with pro-8 local religious leaders. In the spirit of reconciliation, Inner Light has extended an invitation to hear their deepest hearts' concerns. We will have the courage to listen understanding that "There are at least two sides to every story, and then there is the Truth." This is not a debate, nor is it a time to educate about our position. This is a time to pierce through the illusion of otherness, and reconstitute a vibration of Agapeo love within us. With an unwavering commitment to Oneness, we will discern what needs to be healed and pray for our individual and collective wholeness. There will be other times for us to express our highest visions and concerns, but first, we listen. We will show up in the disarming energy of love. If you cannot show up in love, then hold vigil from wherever you are. We will pray in at 6:30pm in the Social Hall with our chambers of prayer and song.

Abundance Workshop with Rev. Deborah
10:00am - 4:00pm

6530 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA 95073
Do you ever feel like there is never enough?
Never enough time, money, health, support, joy,
and on and on? Ever feel like the clock is running
faster than you are, that the bills stack higher
than you can pay, that you are chasing after love
that doesn’t want to be caught, or no matter how
much you take care of yourself ailments always
prevent you from being fully present?
This workshop is designed to help you:
*Break through the cycles of "not enoughness"
*Recognize the Good that appears missing
*Understand how you already are the essence of what you seek
*Develop a practice of gratitude--"What you appreciate, appreciates"
*Utilize spiritual principles to manifest more abundance in all areas of your life.
